Research Projects
Understanding the relationship between depression, memory & culture
This study is looking at what kinds of memories pop into our mind when we are depressed and how people respond to these memories. We are also interested in investigating if the experience of these memories is different between cultures. Participation involves completing an on-line questionnaire, meeting the researcher at Monash University and completing an on-line diary. The project closes for participation in January, 2019.
Investigating New Treatments For Mental Health Difficulties

Music for Mental Health – An Online Program for Raising Awareness of Unhealthy Behaviours in People with Depression?
This study is being conducted by researchers at Western Sydney University, the Blackdog Institute and UNSW. It aims to conduct focus groups with young people with depression, to help design a smart phone application that can help young people reflect on how their music listening influences their mental health. Role of Boosting Positive Emoticons in Managing Stress
If you are 18 years old and are willing to take part in three phases of a survey which will take a total of 2 hours over the period of 2 weeks, then you are eligible for this research. This is an on-line research and there will be no face to face interview.
