IN DARKNESS

In darkness I have fallen.
Shivering in the cold
Unable to see,
Holding my breath.
Shadows surround me
Haunt my dreams,
My waking nightmares.
When will the Light come in?
When will the Sun chase away my fears?
A new hour begins.
Does it bring the dawn, or another hour of darkness?
Only Time can tell.
